Eulalie: She fell asleep in the car at 4pm so I carried her upstairs and laid her on our bed. A couple of hours later I went in to check on her and this is how I found her; that angelic little face illuminated as the last light slipped through from behind the curtain. She didn't wake until 8am the next day.

Marguerite: As the weeks go on, I'm seeing less of Lalie. I can see her own unique features becoming more defined. I think I might have even got a look in this time!

  13. These are beautiful photos. I just love the lighting in the first image. Its got me thinking about how to even take a photo like that?! I just read that Jodi is now sharing her camera settings for her 52 project. Would you be interested to do the same!?!

    1. Hi Judy... thank you so much! I did see that Jodi is sharing her settings... not sure I'm brave enough to do the same (half the time I feel like I'm just fudging my way through with photography). This photo, although in a dark space, was shot on ISO 100 because the small amount of available light was very harsh and direct... and I wanted the rest of the room to remain in darkness to give a striking contrast to the image. Aperture was 2.2 and shutter was 1/100th. I hope this helps!

    2. Yes, very helpful thankyou! I would never have even thought to try ISO 100 inside in a dark space. I really should experiment more. Thanks for sharing the info, it's given me some inspiration to try new ideas with photos :)
