"A portrait of my child, once a week, every week, in 2013."

Eulalie: Just moments earlier she picked a tiny leaf from a hedge (see it there in her hand?). She's started 'collecting' little treasures from our outings; sticks, seeds, flowers, stones... she likes to bring nature home, just like Mum.

My favourites from last week would have to be from Nell and Little Sleep. I love the anticipation of adventure... what cute little explorers.

Joining in with Jodi's 52 Project. Read all about it here.

    1. I don't want to rub it in... but she was actually running towards me saying that the ground was hot (from the sun). ha! Don't be envious though... we don't get to experience the four seasons and it's something I miss dearly. x

  17. A breathtaking picture Claire, from the scenery (wow!) to gorgeous Lalie. She is looking more like you, I think.

And thank you! I can't believe I captured that shot. Pressed the button at the exact right second...lucky I spend so much time hovering round her with a camera! xx

    1. ps. Phiney has started collecting too - yesterday I was given a stick, some blossom that had fallen from a tree, a daisy and buttercup and a tiny, pristine white feather. She was in awe of it all. I love that.

  27. Everly loves to collect things on our outings too - it began with me showing her leaves and gumnuts on our walks down the street waiting for Daddy to come home, and now she stops to pick up random things wherever we are (including empty chip packets, erm...). We have a little 'nature table' shelf at home where we display all of her collections. I often find random cups of gumnut tea about the house! x
